The Lesson: Stop listing what the product does. Start talking about the 5 hours of admin time it saves. Sell the solution to their Sunday night stress, not the software.
3. Observation: Pick one lane and own it. My team wanted to be on TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Youtube all at once. We were exhausted and invisible everywhere.
The Lesson: Pick one place where your customers actually hang out. If it’s LinkedIn for B2B in South Africa or Xiaohongshu in Hong Kong, go all-in there. It’s better to be a big fish in one pond than a ghost in ten.
4.Observation: Aim for the "Small Yes" I used to get frustrated when a big lead didn't sign a contract immediately. But nobody marries someone on the first date.
The Lesson: Ask for a 10-minute coffee or a quick demo first. These "micro-commitments" build the trust you need to get to the "Big Yes" later.
